THE [STUDIO]

The Space Between Studio, founded by Kaitlyn Menere - a Holistic Psychotherapist, Breathwork Facilitator and wellness business mentor who believes healing doesn’t have to feel so heavy.

In her early twenties, Kaitlyn lost her mum to cancer - an experience that she didn’t know how to process at the time. Like many of us do, she pushed through, keeping busy and holding it all together. For nearly eight years, the grief and depression were repressed beneath the surface, until her body began to speak the language she couldn’t yet find words for. That language came in the form of Crohn’s disease.

What began as a search for physical healing became an initiation into the deeper intelligence of the body - the places where stress, emotion and unprocessed experience quietly live. She discovered that true wellness isn’t about fixing or forcing, but about feeling safe enough to soften, listen and feel.

That discovery led her to breathwork and nervous system regulation — and eventually to creating The Space Between: a studio built on the belief that healing happens when we create space between the doing and the being. Between the effort and the ease. Between who we’ve been and who we’re becoming.

THE [FOUNDER]

Kaitlyn’s background weaves together psychotherapy, somatic and trauma-informed care, brain-body medicine, breathwork facilitation, and holistic health.

But more than anything, her work is guided by lived experience - a deep knowing that healing is not a destination, but a remembering.

The Space Between Studio was created as a place to slow down, breathe and reconnect with yourself. It’s built on the belief that real healing happens when the nervous system feels safe - when we give ourselves space to pause, feel and come back to ourselves.

After years of working with clients, Kaitlyn noticed how magic in person sessions were compared to online yet few spaces existed for facilitators and practitioners to hold sessions outside of their homes - and how most wellness environments felt either too clinical, too spiritual, or just flat-out boring. She wanted to change that.

The Space Between was built to bridge that gap - a space that feels warm, modern and alive. A space that holds the depth of healing work without losing the human-ness in it. Every detail was designed with intention - the lighting, the scents, the decor, the pace - so both facilitators and clients can feel comfortable, grounded and supported.

Here, you’ll find classes and experiences centred around nervous system regulation, breathwork, movement and community. It’s not about doing more- it’s about coming home to yourself. About making space for the in between moments - the pauses, the exhale the quiet shifts that remind you healing doesn’t have to be a performance.

The Space Between is part of a new wave in wellness - one that’s grounded in science, nervous system awareness, and real human connection.

It’s not fluffy or clinical.

It’s honest, embodied and built for the people who don’t want to fit in - for those who want to challenge the old wellness paradigm, do things differently and create their own way of showing up in the world.
